3 Things I love about Men…

You’re often hearing from me about how you can be a better man.

And while I know that’s interesting to you, I also want you to know that I appreciate you, just as you are!

I’d like to share a few things I find myself appreciating and admiring in men, every day, in my work and personal life.

Keep in mind, that the three things I’ll share are generalizations. Not all men will fit this bill. I’m speaking from a place of personal appreciation.

Number one is: willingness. Men exhibit a willingness to do what needs to be done. Willingness might sound like, “Yep, that needs doing. I’m on it.”  Men are inclined to get into action and get things done, rather than complain about how the situation should be different.

Number two: I love that you don’t have to sugar-coat most stuff with men, as long as you’re respectful.

My clients often say, “Give it to me straight.” They want to know what I see in them and for them, and they don’t insist that I glaze it over. This makes for direct conversations that are often transformative.

Three: I love how men suck it up and get on with life, even when they’re hurt or disappointed. In a spiritual sense, they see that life goes on, and that being needed and of service in the world, supersedes what they’re feeling in the moment.

There are so many things I appreciate about men, as a woman and as a coach.

For the women reading this, I’d love to hear what you appreciate in men. 😊
